The food in the restaurant was reasonable value for money and the location by the castle is advantageous. Nice outside terrace where you can sit well on warm days. Staff was friendly and well trained. I can't judge the rooms.

My absolute favorite. And excellent cuisine.

Well ... what can I say. After the celebratory meal at the inn, I treated myself to a piece of Prinzregententorte for two hours on the sunny terrace and was still happy and satisfied. At first we thought: "Listen ... the woodpecker is knocking on the tree! What an idyll ...?!" ? But what we heard fell for the slow creak of a flagpole at the front of the street. But the mood and laughter were immense. Gladly here again. 100% risk of repetition.

Nice atmosphere, the service staff can be expanded. For a cup of not so strong coffee 4 euros is pretty strong. Either increase quality or reduce price?

Nice little castle, tours are very informative. Unfortunately, due to Corona, not all rooms can be visited. There are wonderful hiking trails and beautiful localities around the castle. There is certainly something for everyone. A short break from everyday life that is easily accessible and that offers a manageable amount of time for day tours.

I went to dinner with my friends and it was delicious, a praises of the chef.

A really highly recommended hotel in a beautiful location with great service, a beautiful terrace, very good kitchen and modern, very clean rooms. Gladly again!

In transit we were a guest at the Schlosshotel Mespelbrunn for one night. We were greeted warmly and the rooms were clean and immaculate. There was a free charging facility for our electric car. Dinner in the in-house restaurant was really a pleasure. The service was friendly and quick, the prices reasonable. There was also nothing wrong with the sumptuous breakfast. Only the departure the next morning was a bit difficult, as the reception was not staffed and the staff had to be found first.

Nice terrace with a view of the forest and meadows. Had a burger that tasted delicious and was well presented. There should normally be more going on here due to the proximity to Mespelbrunn Palace, but in Corona times not many tables were occupied towards evening.

Poor service with closed restaurant. Can't recommend.

Without blame with a lot of praise. But and or still. Quality has its price.. In any case the best address for a cultivated atmosphere and the best cuisine and staff.

Very well run house. Nice personel. Enjoy your meal. Nice little spa. Many walks right on the doorstep. Scenic location I felt very well.

Check hours of operation before going. Also, the resteooms were disgusting. We were very disappointed.

Very nice, quiet four-star hotel. The hotel convinced with delicious food, very friendly and courteous persona, as well as an upscale amenities. The spa area with saunas has been completely redone and is definitely worth a visit. All in all highly recommended.

The castle can only be visited with a guided tour. The tours are mildly interesting but could be improved.

Beautiful grounds and palace. Only down side is no information booklets or pamphlets in other languages. Tour guide was also only in German..a pamphlet would be so helpful, plus the directions to the other attractions would be great to

We were in this hotel for 2 days and half for a seminar. I really liked the building itself, it is historical and full of oersonality, not one for the new design hotel cold and unwelcoming. Than the personal was really nice and friendly, full of smiles and kind gestures. And, last but not leastz, the food. It was great, nicely cooked and everyday different. A touch of Mediterranean cuisine with German background. Overall my permanence was really good.

Directly in front of the castle Mespelbrunn is the castle hotel inviting resting place. Very friendly hospitality with elegant decor and good cake!
